Workshops  

The Portland Institute for Psychedelic Science (PIPS) offers workshops and seminars in topics related to psychedelics and psychedelic assisted therapy. Our workshops are open to the public and are oriented towards health care professionals and students of all levels of background knowledge and experience. Topics of prior workshops include: 

• Introduction to psychedelic-assisted therapy 

• Ethical and legal considerations in psychedelic harm reduction and integration   

• Ethics and practice of therapeutic touch 

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and psychedelic-assisted therapy 

Our workshops are informed by the latest scientific research, direct clinical experience, and familiarity with current topics and developments in the field. Most workshops contain a diverse range of teaching methods including didactic instruction, role-plays, experiential exercises, or viewing videos of psychedelic sessions. We welcome individuals who are new to psychedelics and psychedelic-assisted therapy, as well as those who come with background or experience.
